Overview of Itinerary
Each day will commence with a morning briefing designed to allow you to gain the maximum insight into your experience and end with a debrief and review to facilitate applying the lessons from the past to your present needs.
Day 1: Saturday, June 6
Arrival
You will be met by your private driver and transferred to your hotel. Expedition briefing and dinner at the Savoy Grill (Churchill’s favorite restaurant).
Day 2: Sunday, June 7
The Churchill Experience
After breakfast embark on a private excursion to the Churchill War Rooms before their open to the public. Explore how Churchill stepped into leadership and grew from a controversial politician into the leader that inspired a nation to bear up to the deprivations of war amidst calls for appeasement and capitulation. This one-of-a-kind experience will be followed by a private tour of London including hidden gems relating to Sir Winston Churchill and the Imperial war Museums of London. Breakfast is included.
Day 3: Monday, June 8
Air Combat Experience
After breakfast we will sortie to the Goodwood Estates and RAF Tangmere. Discover how to think and react calmly and cooly in the dynamic, chaotic, environment of air combat. You’ll get to fly in a Slingsby T67 Firefly military training aircraft and experience air combat against a fellow expedition member. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 4: Tuesday, June 9
Southwick House
Location of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces (Europe), Southwick House was the epicenter for the planning of Operation Overlord, the Normandy Invasion. The success of Operation Overlord was due to Eisenhower’s ability to learn and grow from past mistakes. Here we will unearth the secret Eisenhower used that allowed him to grow to be one of the most beloved and successful leaders of modern time.
From here we will depart for St. Peter Port in Guernsey where we will enjoy dinner in the private Doyle room, once the private dining room of Lt General Sir John Doyle, former Lieutenant Governor of Guernsey. Breakfast and Dinner are included.
Day 5: Wednesday, June 10
Channel Islands
The only part of the British Isles occupied by the Germans during World War II (30 June 1940 – 9 May 1945), the Channel Islands offer a powerful lesson in leadership during times of sudden and profound disruption. Citizens faced a harsh reality, and the provisional government had to quickly adapt to the occupation, navigating the delicate balance between ensuring survival and avoiding the pitfalls of collaboration. Modern business leaders can learn from these successes and failures: in the face of unforeseen challenges, flexibility, ethical decision-making, and clear communication are vital to maintaining integrity while securing stability. Breakfast is included
Day 6: Thursday, June 11
Return to London
After breakfast we will return to London where we will gather at Raffles, Briain’s old War Office for our closing dinner and expedition debrief.
Day 7: Friday, June 12
Departure
After the included breakfast your private transfer will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to your departure airport.

Code of Conduct: Commitment to Leadership and Focus
To ensure the success of this exclusive leadership retreat, all expedition members are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
- No Plus Ones (Unless a Leadership Partner)
This is a leadership-focused experience, not a sightseeing trip or vacation. Plus ones are only permitted if they hold a leadership role in your organization. If you’d like to share the experience with someone, arrange to meet them after the retreat concludes on October 2. - Sobriety Until the Final Dinner
Alcohol or other intoxicants are not permitted during the expedition, except at the farewell dinner at Raffles. This is to maintain focus, respect, and engagement throughout the retreat. - Be Fully Present
During all tours, briefings, discussions, exercises, and debriefings, participants are expected to be mentally and physically engaged. This means no texting, calling, or checking emails during these sessions. Leadership starts with presence. - Punctuality is Non-Negotiable
Missing movement is serious. The schedule is tight to maximize the experience, and all transportation will leave promptly. Activities and exercises may take place during bus rides, so punctuality ensures you won’t miss critical moments. If you miss the transportation, it will be your responsibility to catch up with the group.
This retreat is designed to push boundaries, build discipline, and deepen leadership skills. By following these guidelines, you’ll ensure a transformative and impactful experience for yourself and your fellow leaders.
Personal Interview Requirement
This expedition is a highly curated experience for a select group of leaders. To ensure alignment with the retreat’s goals and values, all participants must agree to a personal interview with the expedition leader, Dave Rosenberg.
